Personally, I still don't know what to think. I definitely had tears in my eyes during the last scene. It's hard to believe that after all these years the series is finally over. Jack accomplished his mission, despite what it cost him.
Although I wasn't crazy about Jack and Ashi's romance, I was still really sad that she vanished during their wedding. I thought for sure the writers would find some way to keep her in Jack's time, considering the world of Samurai Jack contains magic and supernatural beings and elements. I don't understand why it took so long for Ashi to disappear, either.
